Aporeto is a technology company that develops a zero-trust cloud security platform. It offers comprehensive cloud-native security for containers and microservices, securing all workloads across any infrastructure with identity-based access control for a Zero Trust posture. Aporeto was acquired by Palo Alto Networks (PANW) in 2020.
Highlights
- Led design and experience-related integration with Prisma Cloud, creating the new Prisma Cloud Network Security module, and integrating with both the core product and other integrations (including Prisma Cloud Compute).
- Led the design efforts for Aporeto’s flagship product, which offered a zero-trust solution for network security and micro-segmentation. Developed and refined workflows for signup, onboarding, and licensing. Also contributed to policy models, data visualization, graph modeling, and role-based access control (RBAC).
- Created a new product style, established design guidelines, and built a UI component library using React.js. Implemented these design elements to enhance the overall user experience and visual appeal of the product.
- Collaborated closely with product management, frontend developers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of design elements into the product development process.
